As an experienced sculptor and artist, I’ve embraced the opportunity to collaborate on unique furniture projects, including street furniture design for the Cavill Street Redevelopment with Cardno S.P.L.A.T.
I strive for simplicity through rigorous and functional space planning and am passionate about working with clients to find the right design solutions.
During my Brisbane school days, this passion for form and aesthetics culminated in a study path that merged straight sciences with sculpture and design.
These experiences and my love of ‘making’, led me to study architecture at the University of Queensland, where I graduated with honours. I now approach every new building project as an artistic endeavour’.
I have travelled extensively around New Zealand, Asia, South America and Europe, and spent my university breaks ski instructing in North America. While travelling exposed me to different cultures and architecture, it also broadened my understanding of how we experience ‘home’.
After University I moved to the Gold Coast where I met my husband, Pete.
Now a wife and mother of two, I appreciate how crazy life can be. I believe functional yet beautiful spaces allow a home to operate more effectively. Let’s face it – when life travels smoothly, everyone benefits.
